DRESSAGE WITH KIM

Kim Kulesa

Kim Kulesa teaches horses and riders to reach their full potential.  Every year since 1985, she and her students have won USDF year-end awards at all levels, in California and Hawaii.  Hawaii total was 30+ state championships from Training to Grand Prix.  She has trained 8 horses to Grand Prix and over 30 through the FEI levels.  Mentors with whom she studied include Kyra Kyrkland, Dr. Reiner Klimke, Christina Stuckelburger, Tom Poulin, Albert Gesierich, Herbert Lange, Linda Hosoi, and Linda Tellington Jones.

Madeleine Woodman

Madeleine Woodman is a USDF Gold Medalist (2019), who began riding at 7 years old and apprenticed to Kim Kulesa at age 14.  She qualified for NAJYRC in Hawaii, won state championships through PSG, and was Southern California’s 2016 Intermediare 1 Young Rider Champion.  She develops horses and riders through FEI, along with a finesse for problem horses.  Student accomplishments include 2020 CDS Training Level Junior Champion, and multiple Junior/Adult Amateur Silver Medalist recipients.  She developed her own horse, Event LA, to Grand Prix.
